Building Hours

Green Isle Community School will remain open Monday - Friday from 7:30 - 3:30. Doors will remain locked and you will need to be buzzed in.

No Outside Groups or Individuals will be allowed to use the facilities beyond educational purposes or food pick-up.

Nutrition & Food Service Information

Beginning on March 17, Green Isle Community School and Sibley East will be providing lunch and breakfast to all children age 18 and under.

The program will run Monday through Friday until further notice. A sack lunch and the next day’s breakfast will be delivered from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please call the school to order a lunch.

Sibley east is also offering lunches for anyone in the school district. You can pick up a free Sibley East lunch at 4 different points between 11-12:30: Sibley East Elementary in Gaylord, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Main Street in Gaylord, Sibley East Secondary in Arlington or the Green Isle Community Room at 390 Parnell Street.

School Aged Care

All before- and after-care/school aged care programs provided in schools are suspended until in-person school resumes.

Clover Kids Child Care will continue to provide care to district enrolled students aged 12 and under who are children of emergency workers critical to the State’s response to COVID-19.

Because school staff are so critical in providing care for emergency workers, school districts are allowing their educators to access the same care for children of families of emergency workers.

Please refer to the State’s School-Age Care for Emergency Workers Priority Document.
